Last week before the Thanksgiving break and we have a lot going on.

Sunray Food Bank will be doing an emergency food distribution again tomorrow!! Located at the Sunray Methodist Church. Qualifications: - SNAP benefits (card does not have to be shown) - Reduced School Lunches - Medicaid (anyone in the household = food for whole household) - Supplemental SSI - Current Financial Hardship - Needs help with food (we will find a way to qualify you!) No ID required!

Don't forget tomorrow is the last day for the canned food drive. All food donated will stay in Sunray and help families in need.

Sunray CISD will be completing the spinal checks required by state law on November 19th and 20th. This will include 5th-grade girls, 7th-grade girls, and 8th-grade boys. Attached is more information about the screening.

Elementary students will return to the campus for a normal school day after the Veterans Program this morning. If you must sign them out, you will need to go to the elementary office after the program.

The high school is reserving spaces at the main doors for our Veterans to park for the presentation today. Veterans and spouses will enter in the side door. Please do not park in the marked area this morning or enter on this side. All other guests will enter in the main gym doors.

The Jr. High basketball games scheduled for Thursday, November 13th, have been moved to Monday, November 10th.

Elementary only food drive challenge starts Monday! The classroom with the most non-perishable items will win a pizza party. Competition is one week only!

Tuesday, November 11th, all girls will now be playing at Kress.

NHS Induction will be held on Monday, November 10th, at 6:30 in the new high school commons. Reception to follow.

Thursday’s JV game has been cancelled, as WT will not have enough for a team. Junior High will still play at 5:00.

Join our 7th and 8th-grade band students for a short Halloween concert today at 1:00 PM in the Middle School gym.
