At this time the district does not have internet. The 8th grade STAAR Social Studies test is rescheduled for tomorrow, 4/17/2025. Students will go to regular classes on regular schedule today.

Update and game changes due to weather this afternoon:
Highland Park game on April 18th will now be Senior Day for Softball
The girls will now play Booker in Stinnett today at 4:30
Bobcat Baseball is also at Stinnett at 4:30
Y’all make a trip over and watch these kids… they are amazing and adapt to whatever changes get thrown at them! 💙💛
Elementary parent conferences will be rescheduled so families and staff can be home and available for utility crews to turn their gas on. A new conference date will be determined later.

District Track Changes
Due to heavy rain and safety of all the athletes. They are moving the varsity only field events to Stratford beginning at 1:30! Stratford has not had any moisture and radar future looks better there.
Running will come back to Gruver at original schedule start time at 4:00.
The remainder JV field events are cancelled.
Pre-K and Kindergarten round-up will be here soon! Join us on April 30th from 9:00-12:00 and 1:00-3:00.

We are so grateful for the communication we continue to receive from the Emergency Management Team and other entities regarding the progress on the gas to the school district being restored. The district will not have gas for heaters on Tuesday, but the cafeteria meals will be served according to the planned menu. Classrooms may be cool in the morning, but the afternoon temperatures are predicted to be warm.

Varsity boys game time for Tuesday, April 1st has been pushed back to 5:30 PM with JV to follow.
The junior high district track meet has been moved to Wednesday due to anticipated weather on Friday and Saturday.
Because of this, the meet will move to Gruver and be conducted alongside HS prelims.
