Due to the condition of our field, we will not be charging admission for anyone. We will have a donation box, should anyone feel led to donate. Also, our home bleachers are safe for seating, and we have 6 sets of temporary bleachers on the visitor’s side. You are more than welcome to bring your own lawn chairs.

Join us this Thursday in the high school gym to kick off our first Jr. High Pep Rally and Home game of the season against Canadian! We are going BIG in hopes of one last chance to earn a spot in the top 25 in the T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights Competition! All students will be attending and will be released from the high school gym at the end of the pep rally.

It's game day! Join us for the pep rally at 3:00 at the high school gym and for the T-Mobile $5k check presentation. All students will be released from the pep rally when it is over.
Kick off against Childress is at 7:00 in Stinnett. Sunray will be the home team.

We want to give a shout out to Sherman County Farm Bureau and the Stratford community for passing the boot and collecting $510 to put towards our storm damages! We may be competitors, but we’re glad to have you as friends in the game of life! Thank you for helping us!

Good morning, It is most unfortunate that we are not able to host our first home game this Friday. We know and appreciate all the time, effort, money, and energy our community has poured into making our field playable. We have not given up hope of having home games! With that said, the games for the week are as follows:
Thursday, September 18th- JH will play Childress at Panhandle at 5:00 JV will play Childress at Panhandle at 6:00 (pending) There will not be a concession stand at these games.
Friday, September 19th- T-Mobile Check Presentation Pep Rally 3:15 Varsity will play Childress at Stinnett at 7:00 Sunray will be the home team and will sit in the home bleachers. Stinnett will have a concession stand open for the game.

Sunray ISD is so INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL to our friends in Dalhart, Levelland, and with Dalhart ISD! Not only did Dalhart students help clean up our football field, but they also passed the hat in their game against Levelland and collected $1,338.17. Dalhart ISD also sent us a check for the proceeds from the gate, totaling $1,264. To top things off, the Dalhart Rotary Club donated $500 to our cause. All of these proceeds will go to repairs from the storm. THANK YOU, DALHART FOR BEING OUR FRIEND! WE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE A FRIEND LIKE YOU!

When the community shows up to support the school, unbelievable things happen! We can may never be able repay the kindness these folks have shown us, but we do hope they know how incredibly grateful we are to them for volunteering their time, energy, and resources to help us remove the hazards from our football field. The construction process has begun at Bobcat Stadium, starting with the visitors' bleachers. We ask that everyone please stay out of the stadium until further notice. Once everything is completed and it is safe to enter, we will let everyone know.
